News and Views.

Hi Everyone,
Over the many years of my career, I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to be involved in many charities and make a difference in someone's life.
Now, with the help of Athlete's for Hope and DC Scores, I have a great chance to raise money for a great cause. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be going head-to-head with 60 other athletes in a race to see who can raise the most money for their favorite charity. I chose DC Scores, which is an incredible organization that utilizes soccer to teach kids valuable life skills such as respect, communication, and teamwork that benefit them off the field and in the classroom. Dating back to 1996 and the beginning of Major League Soccer/DC United/and DC Scores, Cindi and I were heavily involved with DC Scores from day 1.
I really love the organization and I am looking for everyone to help out and pitch in as best you can.
Please send this on to all your friends, spread the word!! No donation is too small, and even a $10 donation will give one poet-athlete socks and shinguards! It also gets us one step closer to the grand prize of $10,000, which would make a HUGE impact in the lives of these young children. There are a lot of great competitors in the race, and I'm going to need all the help I can get in order to win. So check out the site DC Scores, tell your friends, and help me support our local club.

Thanks!
